Brady Quinn The Right Move posted on 11/05/2008

It is about time.  Finally the terrible Cleveland Browns decide to give their young highly paid quarterback a chance to show what he can do.  Derrick Anderson is a good QB but it is time to make the switch.  I hate to say it browns fans this season is over for you.  It was over as soon as the nfl schedule came out.  With that being said next year is not and the browns are talented and look to be a force next year if they can give Quinn time to develop.

The Browns can now dangle Derrick Anderson as trade bate to possibly get a upgrade on defense or for draft picks.  There should be a big market out there for him.  The lions have a sudden surplus of draft picks after trading Roy Williams and they could use a QB like Anderson.  I think that the connection of Derrick Anderson and Calvin Johnson would be huge.

Deangelo Hall would look good as a Patriot posted on 11/05/2008

There is a rumor floating around the nfl about Deangelo Hall getting released.  First of all the raiders are crazy if they release this guy.  Is he really that bad that you feel the need to release him?  This is one of the fastest players in the NFL.  Use him on returns or have him as a nickel corner.  I will tell you what Al Davis Please release him.  That way the Patriots can take another player from you that has had the life sucked out of him and turn him back into a pro bowler.  Deangelo Hall is very talented and for a while was considered one of the better corners in football. He is still young and has alot of football to play yet.  With the right atmosphere Deangelo Hall can get back into pro bowl form.  I think that he would love to be a patriot.

Kevin O'Connell Time posted on 11/04/2008

I believe that Kevin O'Connell should be the patriots starting quarterback over Matt Cassell.  Some might think that Matt Cassell is doing a good job but my thought is that Tom Brady will be 32 years old next year when he comes back from injury and who knows if he will be the same quarterback that he has been.  I am not one to criticize Bill Belichick but I do believe you need to plan for the future and give this young quarterback the chance to develop why Tom Brady is out.  This kid is a duel threat with a good arm.  He is 6 foot five, two hundred and twenty five pounds a big and mobile QB.  He really impressed scouts and Belichick in his senior year.  When Graded by NFL scouts he was given as good as a first round grade.  I believe that he could be as successfull as another rookie quarterback named Matt Ryan.  It is now time to look at the future and if any Patriot fan thinks that they are going to the superbowl this year with Matt Cassell at the helm they are crazy it is time to turn the page and look at the new Kevin O'Connell era.

Ryan Torain The New Broncos Savior posted on 11/04/2008

Mike Shanahan is quoted as saying that Ryan Torain is the most talented running back

he has ever seen.  So he is saying more talented then the like of Terrell Davis, Clinton Portis,  Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Rueben Droughns and Tatum bell.  After that last sentence you might be thinking that I am crazy.  Don’t worry I was Trying to make a point.  Lets start with Terrell Davis a great NFL running back but was a sixth round pick by the broncos and ran a 4.6 forty at the combine.  So I am sure that Davis did not look that impressive.  Then there is Clinton Portis a first round pick that is fast, elusive and has every skill that you want a back to have.  But I do not think that shanahan ever liked him as he was traded awa y to Washington for Champ Bailey.  As for the other Denver running backs they were all just a bunch of no name players.  So let’s say it should not take much for Mike Shanahan to say that he is the most talented running back he has ever seen.  Besides Torain needs to show what he can do on the field when there are officials and eleven guys trying to knock the snot out of him.  Not in limited contact drills.
