I like Cal, but they always seem to fall apart in mid-season. Was that embarrassment against UMD a mirage or an omen?

Like Georgia Tech, their sole defeat was at the hands of Virginia Tech.

They are Brandon Flowers of Virginia Tech, Charles Godfrey of Iowa and Terrell Thomas from Southern Cal.
The most intriguing of the three is Flowers because he sounds like he would fit seamlessly into the New England secondary. Scouting reports say he plays great in zone schemes and has solid ball skills.
