Vince Young

1 December 2011

ds a nice hit on a quarterback blitz, finishes with three tackles, including one on the athletic QB Vince Young, forcing a third down at the two yard line. Two plays later, Young overthrew his target and the Eagles came away with nothing.

This has to hold true on Sunday.

Three interceptions thrown by QB Vince Young hopefully is a harbinger of gifts to come for New England’s defense. Enough turnovers and the Patriots hold

While Moss adjusted to Brett Favre in Minnesota, then Vince Young and now Kerry Collins in Tennessee, Branch played four years in New England before being traded to Seattle in 2006. It took a few weeks, but Brady and Branch are playing catch like they did from 2002 to 2005.

s:

Kurt Warner: Not going anywhere.

Kerry Collins: Will likely stick around in Tennessee due to Vince Young's suppose instability.

Matt Cassel: Patriots won't let him go considering the seriousness of Tom Brady's knee injury (remember Pep?!)

His maturity and ability to avoid mistakes trumps Vince Young's otherworldly athleticism.

But how good would these teams still be without key defenders? We already know the Colts D is practically nothing without safety Bob Sanders. Would the same thing happen to Pittsburghif they lost Troy Polamalu? How about stripping the Steelers of linebacker James Harrison and James Farrior misses time as well? Could the Titans' backfield duo or Carolina's Smash and Dash be what they are if they missed a combined 24 games this season?

, who was incredible with all the weapons surrounding him...

The Titans star their young star, Vince Young, have a mental breakdown early this year, and made the switch to the grizzled vet Kerry Collins, who has played well, not made too many mistakes, and let his defense take care of the rest...

rsquo;s amazing considering that they are doing it with Kerry Collins as their QB.  Good thing Vince Young had some issues at the beginning of the season!

The Eagles and the Bengals played to a tie.  A tie in the NFL is extremely rare, as the last tie came in 2002.  What’s amazing is that Donovan McNabb didn’t know that the game ended after 15 minutes if no team scored!  What’s more amazing, is that after McNabb was told that by a reporter during the post-game press conference, he wondered what would happen if that occurred in a play-off game or the Super Bowl.  Are you kidding me?  A QB who has been in the NFL for 10 years, and counts $9.3M against the Eagles cap, doesn’t know this?  This is absurd!

Current starting Titans quarterback Vince Young. He can throw the ball fairly far, and his main asset is his ability to just win games. If you somehow make it on the Titans roster, you need to tell coach Jeff Fisher that you too can win games. Now the best way to beat out

ft tall, throw a football faster than a speeding bullet, and run faster than a locomotive (See Vince Young and Tavaras Jackson).  But the good, and the great, somwhere along the way"get it." The may or may not put up big numbers. They may throw for 50 touchdowns like Brady and lose the Super Bowl, or they may throw 28 TD's and win it all like, umm, yeah, that guy Brady. Manning's other clone Peyton has similar stats. So numbers: height, arm strength, speed, are about as much a formula for success of a quarterback as a 36-24-36 figure is an indicator of female loyalty. Only one number counts-Wins. (Although, I will say that the untraceable number of interceptions by Joe Montana in the Big Game is one of my personal favorite numbers.) Otherwise, you draft gurus can keep your numbers in the same place as people whose names are numbers(See Chad, your a Zero, Ocho Cinco), in the garbage bin.
