Tim Tebow

17 January 2012

On Saturday, they gave up 252 total yards. They forced 14 negative plays and sacked Denver QB Tim Tebow five times. It was easily the best game the defense played all year long.

5. One last thing about Tebow and I’m done with him. I was really hoping that at one point his pass completions-attempts would be 3-for-16.

After a week of Tim Tebow this and Tim Tebow that, Brady wanted to make a statement. Mission accomplished: 23-34, 320 yards, two TD passes and a rush TD. Tebow is a nice story, but when it comes to the best in the league, Brady expects the list starts with him. Don’t you think Brady envisioned Tebow’s face on the spot Brady spiked the ball after his touchdown run? I think so.

About a month ago, I wrote a critical article about Denver quarterback Tim Tebow, declaring results won’t matter as much as his performance to secure the franchise quarterback role with the Broncos. His inability to pass accurately for a full game was the foundation of my argument.

Benn isn’t the only one this year.

QB Tim Tebow, Florida

He’s generated a lot of interest because he’s a tremendous athlete that projected to a change of position. After changing his mechanics, Tebow is viewed as a project QB. I’m not interested.

t Suh or McCoy are available, but will be happy with Berry.  Then you have the curious case of Tim Tebow.

Curious because I find it hard to remember someone who has one the Heisman as well as two National Championships and has been considered by many to be one of the greatest college football players EVER and still generated so many questions of which round he should be drafted in.  Which round? Seriously? Now, mind you I am not saying that Mr. Tebow should be snatched up in the top of the first round.  I would not feel that it would be bad if he slipped into the second round, but there are analysts saying that he should be drafted in the 3rd, 4th, or even 5th round.  Have they watched the same games that I did? I am a fan of the New England Patriots and living down in Florida have had opportunity to get a front row seat on the

Now the Pats need a receiving TE.

After heaping effusive praise on Florida QB Tim Tebow, Bill Belichick was seen eating dinner with Tebow in Boston. Don’t read too much into it. I don’t want Tebow unless he becomes a Hall of Fame tight end or consistently pressure the quarterback as a rush linebacker. QB Brian Hoyer was good enough to be the sole back-up to Tom Brady as a rookie. If Hoyer takes the next step in his development, Tebow will be an afterthought.
