About a month ago, I wrote a critical article about Denver quarterback Tim Tebow, declaring results won’t matter as much as his performance to secure the franchise quarterback role with the Broncos. His inability to pass accurately for a full game was the foundation of my argument.

QB Tim Tebow, Florida
He’s generated a lot of interest because he’s a tremendous athlete that projected to a change of position. After changing his mechanics, Tebow is viewed as a project QB. I’m not interested.

Curious because I find it hard to remember someone who has one the Heisman as well as two National Championships and has been considered by many to be one of the greatest college football players EVER and still generated so many questions of which round he should be drafted in. Which round? Seriously? Now, mind you I am not saying that Mr. Tebow should be snatched up in the top of the first round. I would not feel that it would be bad if he slipped into the second round, but there are analysts saying that he should be drafted in the 3rd, 4th, or even 5th round. After heaping effusive praise on Florida QB Tim Tebow, Bill Belichick was seen eating dinner with Tebow in Boston. Don’t read too much into it. I don’t want Tebow unless he becomes a Hall of Fame tight end or consistently pressure the quarterback as a rush linebacker. QB Brian Hoyer was good enough to be the sole back-up to Tom Brady as a rookie. If Hoyer takes the next step in his development, Tebow will be an afterthought.
