And with three talented tight ends on the roster, the Patriots might sacrifice a wide out to keep veteran Alge Crumpler and rookie Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.

No big deal? Yeah, maybe. But this wrinkle could help the passing game along.
One thing we know is Baltimore plays physical. Moss can be effectively be bumped at the line, disrupting his route. Aiken is 6-2 215 pounds, so he should be plenty strong enough to fight through a corner in his grill. Edelman, an even 6-0 and 198, might not have the strength to break away quickly.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, for nbenching WR Joey Galloway. While we may not know what Sam Aiken and Julian Edelman will contribute week to week, I’d take my chances with them over the 15-year veteran until Galloway learns the offense, if he ever does.

Two Points – Sam Aiken won’t get on the field with the offense often, but he did shine; LB Paris Lenon might had done enough to earn a roster spot as he played inside.
