Tuesday was cut down day and I expected more veterans to to turn in their playbook than young players. The reason being that veterans have reached their full potential while the sky is the limit for players with three or less years under their belt.

Just when Patriots Nation was holding their breath and the rest of the NFL was pumping their fist, out comes Tom Brady to join the team at practice.

Granted, that was all the media learned. What they saw was Brady stretch, a little light throwing, and Tom handing off to the running backs. His level of participation when practice really got started is unknown.

On Tuesday, right tackle Nick Kaczur plead guilty to speeding at a New York courtroom. I wonder if he should bother to come back.

Though Kaczur remains on the roster, I wonder if his position is tenuous. A day after the Pats signed two more draft picks (LB Shawn Crable and QB Kevin O'Connell), they also added 10-year veteran RT Anthony Clement.
