Jones, and WR Ray Ventrone for defying the odds and making the active roster (for now). If you're cut in favor of a veteran signing, keep your head up as you can be brought back more than once. Just ask Troy Brown.

He 's not the first draft pick that didn't make the team at any level.
WR Ray Ventrone - The kid did a little bit of everything and was the team's leading receiver in the preseason. He had a knack for getting open. But Matt Slater has similar versatility to play safety and receiver, and in addition returns kicks as well. Ray won't stay.

Even safety/receiver/gofer/beerguy/laundry attendant Ray Ventrone caught four for 49 yards.
The competition at linebacker should be interesting. I thought Eric Alexander had his best game against the Eagles. he and Victor Hobson will help each other playing together while likely competing for the same roster spot. It's possible Shawn Crable could make Pierre Woods expendable.
