No matter how many times I re-do my mock draft, the answer is always the same. Virginia linebacker Clint Sintim falls to the Pats. I’ve just completed my third edition and for the third time Sintim is the logical 23rd pick overall.

For the past couple seasons I didn’t have a chance to get much of a jump on the prospects with Patriots potential prior to the scouting combine, since the Pats made a habit out of playing into mid-January. Unfortunately this season I’ve had plenty of time.

I'm happy to have finally acquired my favorite and only draft guide, The Sporting News Draft Guide '08. I've spent over a month going over team and individual stats and tracking free agency moves to reach my own conclusions on team needs. Now with my draft guide, I can finally go ahead and produce a mock draft.
