nbsp; Romo didn’t come out of college with the pedigree of an Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, or Matt Ryan, to name a few.  He needed a few seasons of grooming just to resemble an NFL QB.  Everyone needs to be patient with him.  Even Peyton Manning took several years before he had post-season success.  And Romo doesn’t even have an ounce of the same pedigree that the Manning’s have!  As for the Cowboys winning the Super Bowl if Crayton didn’t drop that sure TD pass…we will never know?  But, I think that the Cowboys have something with Romo…let’s wait a few years before we label him a bust.  From where he came from…he’s already out-performed anyone’s expectations!

WINNER: Matt Ryan (ATL)—Quarterback is the hardest position to play in football. It’s almost unheard of for a rookie QB to come in and play on even an average level. Ryan is playing better than a lot of vets right now and is the biggest reason they have a winning record. His potential is limitless.

Third pick overall, QB Matt Ryan, reached an agreement with the Atlanta Falcons that pays him more than two-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady.

The numbers are ludicrous. There's something very wrong with the system as-is. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the owners want a rookie salary cap, and they are not alone.

For example, their top quarterback is Louisville's Brian Brohm over Boston College's Matt Ryan. I could somewhat understand that because of the number of interceptions Ryan threw over the past two years in comparison to Brohm (28 by Ryan, 17 by Brohm). But this doesn't seem to weigh their performance last year. Brohm wasn't the same player without head coach Bobby Petrino, who padded his resume with the Atlanta Falcons before moving on to Arkansas. Ryan, on the other hand, led the Eagles offense when he wasn't surronded by much talent. Brohm had a much better supporting cast around him.
