midfield for the home crowd to congratulate the newest members of the Patriots Hall of Fame, center Jon Morris and quarterback Drew Bledsoe. They were inducted on Saturday, with Bledsoe delivering the best line. To paraphrase, Bledsoe called QB Tom Brady a terrible back-up because Brady didn’t understand what it meant to be a back-up. Denied has been C Jon Morris, a Hall finalist for the past three years, even though he has more All-Star selections (seven) than any player elected by the fans. He was part of the line that opened holes for 2009 Hall inductee Nance. But because yards are credited to running backs and not offensive linemen, fans picked Nance over Morris.

est addition to the Patriots Hall of Fame, beating out defensive lineman Houston Antwine and center Jon Morris.
Sorry to be mean, but I find it a little strange that the franchise’s second all-time leading rusher goes into the Patriots Hall of Fame ahead of the leader.

pcoming Patriots Hall of Fame between tight end Ben Coates, running back Jim Nance, and center Jon Morris. In a few years time, linebacker Willie McGinest could be debated for the honor.
