e a hard time believing the Patriots would relax those standards on a first round pick.

A stout lineman that can anchor inside. Looks more like a two down player, as his pass rush consisted of bull rush and that’s it. If he can hold his ground and play two gaps, he would be a good pickup later in the draft.

North Carolina’s Cam Thomas will visit with the Patriots soon. The 6-4 330-pound defensive tackle will be put under the microscope at Gillette Stadium, like Tennessee RB Montario Hardesty, TCU DE Jerry Hughes, and Tenneessee DT Dan Williams will be. Like dinner with Tebow, these visits could mean something, or could mean nothing.
