Minor didn’t put up big numbers for the Wolverines because he was constantly nicked up and he was part of a rotation in the backfield. But when he played, Minor looked like the best running back for the Wolverines by far. If he gets a chance at the pro level, I think Minor becomes another Ryan Grant story. Minor could go as late as the seventh round, or signs as a rookie free agent.

My suggestion: Michigan’s Brandon Minor. Staying healthy was a problem for him during his college career. But when he played, Minor (6-0 214) clearly looked like the Wolverines’ best ball carrier.

I didn’t realize that Brandon Minor was in this draft until recently. But I remember him as the best back in Michigan’s rotation. Minor should have a lot of tread left as he had just 331 carries in four years. He’s well built (6-0 214) and could be this year’s Ryan Grant.
