For all those who think QB Matt Cassel is underperforming and should be replaced, how about we compare apples to apples. It's obvious he's not Tom Brady so give that comparision a rest. How does Cassel stack up against other backups?

Randolph, that's some nice stats...but stats aren't the only issue.  Cassel is no Tom Brady...well...many aren't!  That's not really the point though, is it?  Cassel is a project QB, like Romo was a few years ago.  Cassel as a 3rd QB is fine, but not as your back-up!  When you go 18-1 (hee, hee!), you can't have yor Number 2 be a guy who couldn't start on his college team!  Patriots fans should be and are outraged over this.  Why?  Because everyone, including the players, know that Cassel can't do it...not right now anyway!  The Pat's should have secured a better option as their back-up.  Look at Dallas (and I'll be the first to say it), that Brad "Noodle Arm" Johnson sucks, at least he's been there before and he has the respect of his teammates...does Cassel?  Now that's the real question!  Peace!
