If you've ever read anything I've had to write in this space regarding Spygate, you probably know my feelings toward Mark Schelereth. Schelereth was convinced last month after seeing the actual tapes that Matt Walsh turned over that the Patriots had used them to "cheat" in the same games they taped. Despite everyone involved saying that was not the case. Well today ESPN's ombudsman came out with her review of how ESPN handled Spygate and she makes sure to point out how they really failed to give balanced coverage.
Secondly I wanted to link to a site made by some dedicated Patriots fans who wanted to make sure that the actual facts of Spygate were recorded somewhere on the internets. If you're looking for the truth behind Spygate and not just fanatical ranting and raving about how the Patriots cheated check out this site.
I intend this to be my final post about Spygate but of course we all know it's still very much alive for one Senator Arlen Specter. So when he decides, after we've all forgotten about it, to bring it back up I'll have to reserve the right to discuss it again. But let's just hope that he lets it go as the rest of the sporting world seems ready to do.
Only one month till training camp. Posts will be up here as news breaks but for the most part we're going to be relaxing and enjoying a football free void. For some additional fun Patriots writings by yours truly, check out my Bleacher Report page.
