Alright we're back from breakfast and we're feeling much better. The Patriots have made two more picks QB Kevin O'Connell and CB Jonathan Wilhite. I'm sure many citizen of Patriots nation are up in arms over the selection of Kevin O'Connell but personally I like the pick. As Mike Mayock just said on Nfl Network this is a great pick and an example of the Patriots thinking ahead of the curve. O'Connell is a raw prospect and with a couple years behind Tom Brady he could be ready to step in or be traded for a high value pick. Everything I'm reading about O'Connell makes him sound really intriguing.
If anyone was wondering what the Patriots like in the cornerbacks Wilhite prety much sums it up. Both he and Terrence Wheatley are 5' 9" and really quick just like Ellis Hobbs. Clearly in the Patriots defense a lack of height is not a detriment. Sure there are fans crying about how short they are but if they're big enough for Belichick and Pioli they're big enough for me.
