Day 2 Begins

Despite a minor hangover I rallied from the bed to the couch this morning at 7am and of course the Pats traded away their first of three third round picks. Luckily it was only a short wait until the picked up an OLB Shawn Crable from Michigan. As soon as I get some chow in me I'll look into him but upon initial analysis I like what the Pats have done so far. I don't understand the fans who are complaining about the players the Patriots have selected so far. What the hell do we the fans know? What ESPN and bs mock craps tell us? I'm still drinking the Bill Belichick Kool Aid and so far the Pats have picked up players at the three positions they needed them the most.

Some other reactions from around the league:

Kansas City is making the most of their plethora of picks. Now the Jared Allen doesn't seem quite so strange. They've picked up a pretty good replacement for him in Dorsey, a versatile G/T Branden Albert (who I had the Pats taking) and a physical corner in Brandon Flowers.

The Jets made the smart move to pick up Gholston. Brady and the Pats O-Line better be ready this year because the pass rushers are going to be coming for him.

I'm glad we're not playing the Jags this year... Harvey AND Groves!? Have fun with that on Peyton.

More to come...
